Terms of Service
Effective July 19, 2026
1. The service
DocsTranslate translates one page of a document at a time — pasted text or a single-page PDF with selectable text, up to 525 words — into the language you choose, at one of three quality levels. Translations are produced by artificial-intelligence language models. The price of every page is shown before you commit to it.
2. Quality disclaimer
Example translations show what to expect, but results are not guaranteed. Translation quality varies with content, formatting, and language pair. Do not rely on DocsTranslate for translations where errors could cause legal, medical, financial, or safety consequences without independent review by a qualified human translator.
3. Free pages and device verification
Each device receives 9 free pages (3 at each quality level) so you can confirm the service works on your device before paying. Free quotas are limited per device and per network to prevent abuse. Before any purchase, the app runs a device capability check (operating-system version, memory, and performance); purchases are refused on devices that fail it, because the service would not work reliably there.
4. Translation Packs
A Translation Pack costs $9.95 and adds $10.00 of page credit to your device's balance. Credit has no cash value outside the service, is tied to the device that bought it, and does not expire. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card details. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use DocsTranslate to translate content that is illegal, that you have no right to process, or in a way that attempts to circumvent quotas, pricing, or the device-verification checks. We may refuse service to devices that abuse the system.
6. Your content
You keep all rights to the documents you submit. We process them only to produce your translation, as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the translation that gave rise to the claim.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
